Cambria Font Overview

Dutch artist Jelle Bosma created Cameronia in 2004 with help from Steve Matteson and Robin Nicholas. Microsoft included Cambria in all versions of Windows and Office, making it one of the most popular fonts for body text. This sans-serif font ensures easy readability on both paper and screens.

Made to be easy to read
Cambria stays clear even at smaller sizes or on low-resolution TVs.It’s a good choice for body text because it’s proportional and has even space. If you use this font in papers, articles, or digital files, you’ll have no trouble reading them. Cambria, unlike many other standard serif fonts, works well on modern screens, making it easier to read without losing its classic look.

It is part of the ClearType Font library.
With Windows Vista, Microsoft added the ClearType Font Collection to make text easier to read on LCD screens. This set of fonts all begin with the letter “C,” which means they can be used with ClearType technology.
