Calibri Font Family Overview
Calibri Font is a modern font that is simple to read. Lucas de Groot designed the sans-serif font Calibri between 2002 and 2004. Microsoft first put it out in 2007 with Windows Vista and Office 2007. Microsoft changed the default font in Word from Times New Roman to Calibri when it first came out.Calibri replaced Arial in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and WordPad. A “soft and warm” feel is what De Groot means by “Calibri.” This makes it easy on the eyes and great for reading.
