Trade Gothic is a classic sans serif font originally designed by Jackson Burke in 1948, with additional styles added through 1960. Unlike many geometric sans serifs, Trade Gothic has a more organic and irregular character, which gives it a humanist feel. Its condensed styles are especially popular in the newspaper industry for headlines, while its full family is frequently used in advertising and multimedia design, often paired with roman text fonts.
